1. Before the use of the filter press, please carefully read this user’s manual. 

2. After the installation of filter press frame, it is fastened with the anchor bolts at the thrust plate side while not fastened at the oil cylinder seat side, which avoids the deformation of frame caused by the stretching of main beam on which the force applies and thus affects the use of filter press. 

3. Carefully check whether the specifications of filter cloth meet the technical requirements, whether it is damaged, and whether it is even, without folding in case of installation. 

4. The filter cloth is not supplied, and the wearing parts are provided by the users themselves. 

5. Check whether the filtration plate and membrane plate are installed and arranged properly, and whether the sealing surface is clean. 

6. After impacting, the filter press begins to operate via the feed pump, and the feeding pressure and squeeze pressure of membrane plate must be controlled below the rated pressure indicated on the nameplate (which is displayed with the pressure gauge). Otherwise it may affect the normal use of the filter press. 

7. In case that the filtration process starts, the feed valve shall be slowly opened, and the filtrate is often turbid initially and then clear. It is normal. 

8. During the filtration, check whether the liquid of filtrate at the outlet of water faucet is turbid at any moment. If the filtrate is found continuous turbid, it shows that the filter cloth near the water faucet from which the turbid filtrate flows is already broken. Shut down the power supply and replace the damaged filter cloth after the current working cycle completes .

9. In case of washing the filtration plate, membrane plate and filter cloth, note not to spray the water on the hydraulic station or electrical cabinet. 

10. The overflow valve is already regulated well before the machine leaves our company, without the readjustment by the operators. Otherwise it may damage the machine. 

11. The filtration and squeeze pressures shall be strictly controlled according to the pressures specified in the User’s Manual, and can’t increase at option. If it is required by the process, timely contact the supplier. 

12. In case of replacement of the adaptor plate or membrane plate, shut down the power supply to avoid the occurrence of hazard. DO NOT impact the filtration plate so as to avoid the damage of the sealing surface of filtration plate; DO NOT take out the filtration plate or membrane plate without the previous permission so as to avoid that the oil cylinder damages the components due to the shortage of travel; In case that the filtration plate or membrane plate is damaged, timely replace it. Otherwise it may result the damage of other filtration plates or membrane plates. 

13. The hydraulic oil adopts the HM46# or HM68# oil, and is refilled into the oil tank via the air cleaner, which must reaches the specified level of oil; the oil tank shall be sealed to prevent the foreign materials and sewage from entering into the oil tank, which avoids the failure of hydraulic components due to the rustiness. 

14. Keep the electrical cabinet dry, and regularly check the pressure gauge , solenoid valve coil and all electrical components to ensure the normal work of the equipment. 

15. In case that the pressure exists in the hydraulic system, removal of hydraulic pipelines and components is unallowable. In case that the filter press is out of service, fully release the pressure inside the hydraulic system. 

16. Regularly refill the mechanical oil into the rail of main beam to ensure the lubrication of rail. 

17. DO NOT move or replace the hydraulic and electrical components at potion. Otherwise you shall be responsible for the consequences. 

18. After the completion of work, for purpose of the safety, shut down the switch, and Power OFF.
